Hurray! We launched the first single of our upcoming album NOLA. The song is called It Ain’t My Fault. Our personal souvenir from our trip New Orleans so to say.

Drummer Smokey Johnson had recorded many albums as a sideman for major labels such as Motown and Imperial Records, when in 1964 he made the two-part single “It ain’t my Fault”. The strong second line rhythm together with the powerful melody make it an all time favorite in New Orleans. It can be heard somewhere in town every day by brass bands, funk bands, you name it… Reason enough for RED to record our own version, to keep the city as close to our hearts as we can.
